Our Story
Long ago in the middle of the night I was inspecting the progress of my first home being built. Driving away I came across a couple standing in the dark with only the dim street lights to see. They were embracing each other looking into the deep dark hole of a new foundation. The couple were envisioning their future home where they would raise their family and share in all of life's joys and memories. This was the moment when I knew that helping families build there forever homes was something I wanted to do the rest of my life.

John Whitestone
The Principal of Black & Whitestone Residential Design Ltd. has contributed to homes being built in Regina and rural Saskatchewan for 17 years as
an Architectural Technologist - SAIT Calgary. A lifelong passion for homes, combined with a deep appreciation for the importance of family, forms the foundation of the company. Having renovated homes for much of his life, his hands-on construction experience provides a practical perspective that extends beyond design alone. This unique combination of technical expertise and real-world building knowledge allows him to create thoughtful, functional, and buildable designs while offering valuable insight throughout every stage of a project.
Lana Kruger
Our Administrator, Business Manager, and Support Technologist is dedicated to ensuring every client feels valued from the very first conversation. She is committed to providing exceptional service, responding promptly to every request, and ensuring clients receive the information and support they need throughout their project. Guided by our company's core values, she also brings valuable technical expertise to our drafting team and continues to expand her knowledge in residential design.
